Orem's own Brandon Johnson is the Mathemagician!

Brandon spent the night sharing card and coin tricks with Gallery Stroll-goers in August, showing students how to make their math disappear with Ology.

FREE ICE CREAM

Summer equals ice cream, and this summer ice cream is free.

That's right. Free. Save your green for school. Save room in your stomach for ice cream.

Ology's own "Old Smokey" (AKA: ice cream truck) is packed with with sweet dairy treats and headed to your apartment complex. Let us know if you'd like your complex to be added to our list.

Watch for Old Smokey on the following days and times:

Thursday, June 18: 5-8pm
Friday, June 19: 3-8pm
Saturday, June 20: 12-4pm

I know, I know---that's about as rad as it gets, right? Wrong! That's only the beginning of Old Smokey's quest to deliver sweets to the people. Watch for this picture on our Facebook page:
If you see the picture above on our Facebook page, it means the ice cream truck is going out. Add us as a friend to get updates on Old Smokey's RIDE OF DELIGHT and get your free ice cream!

Check your mailbox for June's Money Mailer---there is a $50 off coupon toward your new enrollment with Ology. That is good news.

OLOGY Human Drawing Dispenser

The first Friday of every month is Provo's Gallery Stroll, where hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of people wander from gallery to gallery, checking out the new shows and meeting the artists. Our very own Jess Smiley was on the spot inside the Human Drawing Dispenser. What is a Human Drawing Dispenser? It's a big box that is a vending machine for drawings. It's free. You walk up, ask for a drawing, then one is made---right before your eyes.

Ology adopts University Parkway

Earlier this month Ology adopted a stretch of University Parkway, running from State Street to Geneva Road. Most of our students and employees drive this stretch of road each day on their way into Ology, so we figured we’d do our part to help keep it clean. We’ve already planned our first clean-up for April 21st, so keep your eyes peeled for a group of us; we’ll be out in our brand spankin’ new Ology shirts. Speaking of which, if you'd like to get your hands on one of our new shirts, take your photo by one of our signs, email it to us, and we'll send a shirt your way.

We'll leave you with this message from the Utah Department of Transportation:
Utah! With its mountains and valleys.
Utah! With it canyons and streams.
Utah! With up to 90 million people a year traveling on its roadways.
Utah! This is the place. The place to Sponsor A Highway

New Ology Shirts

The new Ology shirts just arrived. We love them and we think you'll love them too. Best of all they're free. Stay tuned to our blog to find out how to get your hands on one.

What does MC Hammer Think of Ology?

Friday night I had the awesome luck of hanging out backstage at the Vanilla Ice/MC Hammer concert. For those of you who went, you know it was the retro event of the decade! Who didn't grow up listening to "Ice Ice Baby" and "Can't Touch This"?

While chillen with Stanley aka Hammer, I mentioned to the good reverend what we do at Ology and how we help students push through some of the more difficult parts of their education. He thought the concept was very cool and related his own struggles with math while in school. I told him if he ever found himself in Utah, Ology would be more than happy to throw some free tutoring his way.

Start looking for Ology at more events like this one as we continue to expand our business and philosophy of helping students finish math forever!

Ology Student Appreciation Night with the Utah Flash!

Last night we had an awesome time with all of our students and teachers at the Utah Flash basketball game. About 180 people came, consuming 60 pizzas, massive amounts of chips and salsa, and crates of various beverages. It was cool to see everyone outside the intense classroom setting and for the students to just chill and hangout with friends, family, and teachers.

Though the Flash lost the lead in the final quarter, we still cheered ourselves horse for our hometeam. A big thanks to the Flash for such a good time and the shoutouts to Ology and our students!
